Lisa Marshall

I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2000, having trained across several practices before settling into the career I'd always wanted. Over more than two decades, I've built broad nursing experience — though it's inpatient care that I return to again and again.

There's a particular satisfaction in nursing a patient through recovery and seeing them go home well. That moment never loses its meaning, no matter how many times you experience it.

Away from work, I'm married with two sons, and our French bulldog Betsy has firmly established herself as the centre of family life. We love taking her with us when we tour in the motorhome — whether around the UK or further afield.
