Dr. Dimitar Dzhambazov

I graduated with a Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Forestry in Sofia, Bulgaria, and spent several years in general practice before relocating to the UK to focus on my surgical development.

In 2019, I completed a Certificate in Small Animal Surgery, and in 2023 I was recognised as an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery, joining the Northwest Referrals team the same year. My clinical passions span all areas of surgery — with particular focus on orthopaedics, trauma, and neurosurgery. I'm also a firm believer that a good soundtrack makes any procedure better.

Outside of work, I spend my time with my two young daughters and my Airedale Terrier, Jessie. I'm committed to an active lifestyle and have a particular fondness for running and calisthenics.
