Our Veterinary MRI scanner is a Esote Grande MR. This open field scanner is designed for continuous visualisation of the animal. The animal can be rapidly positioned for the scan and the open design allows easy access should any situation arise. In addition to this the scanner has pre-programmed veterinary protocol for optimal images. As this is a Lowfield scanner our ongoing costs are a lot less which is why we can offer this advanced imaging at a fraction of the price found at other imaging centres. All our images are reported on producing a imaging report.
Common Cases for MRI Scanning
Common cases that we receive referrals for MRI involve; syringomyelia screenings, spinal disc protrusions and animals with history of seizures. We use MRI scanner for diagnostic investigations and are fortunate enough to have surgeons in house who can perform complex, corrective surgeries.
