Tiny is a 13 year old, female neutered domestic shorthaired cat. Tiny has a history of reoccurring nasal discharge, sneezing and coughing every 3 to 6 months. A week of treatment would usually clear the symptoms, but ultimately the symptoms reoccur. A CT scan was advised to outline the underlying problem. The CT scan showed multiple polyps in the choanae, pharynx and inner ear. The scan also showed chronic nasal sinus blockage and inflammation. Following the CT results the best course of action was endoscopy to remove the polyps. We are hopeful that the surgery performed stops these recurring symptoms.
